Peninsula Action.

Synopsis

At the height of his career, Zhang Xiao is blindsided when his wife Chen Xin leaves him, asks for a divorce and sends him a photo of herself kissing another man. Furious, he devises an absurd plan: stage a kidnapping, then swoop in as the hero to win her back—and teach her a lesson.

Following the photo’s location to Dalian, he recruits Biao-san, a Japanese self-styled outlaw who claims a gangster legacy, and Dali, the son of the late strongman known as the King of Strength. Together, the unlikely trio launches its ill-conceived “Peninsula Action.”

As the plan unfolds, Zhang Xiao discovers just how unreliable his partners are. Trouble and embarrassment follow at every turn. Yet amid the chaos, a spark of love begins to flicker again…
